Editor's Note

Issue 45.3 of the Old English Newsletter is co-edited by Mary Dockray Miller of Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Issue 3 of each volume is focused on Old English in the classroom. If you wish to contribute an essay on pedagogical issues, history, or techniques, please contact Professor Dockray Miller.

Issue 45.1, edited by Eddie Christie is available in the archives. Essays and reports can be sent directly to him. Please submit or encourage your students to submit their translations to OEN. We will be awarding a prize to the best translation in the Spring, provided we receive enough submissions.

Volume 45 is slow in coming, and for that, my apologies. The annual bibliography will be several months late, as our bibliographer has stepped down. A rough-and-ready rag-tag team is experimenting with new ways of assembling bibliographical data, which is very exciting.
